ABOUT VOICE CONTROLLED ROBOT

Prepare to amazed to watch your bot follow your voice commands.

This workshop is related to speech processing which will be actuated with the robot wirelessly for controlling its different actions. This workshop will provide school students a base to robotics graphical programming & electronics project building

We will be using MATLAB for speech processing and for wireless communication we will be using Bluetooth module. Whatever voice command you will give, it will react as same

WORKSHOP OUTCOME

INTRODUCTION

Introduction to the basic robotics and speech recognition. Learn how to communicate with your robot just by sending voice commands. Learn and get a hands-on experience on the components used for creating this robot.

ROBOT PARTS

Their are numerous parts used to create this robot. Learn about each of these parts and also try to modify them using the kits provided. Learn about the ICs, micro-controllers, motor drivers, etc

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

Wireless communication is the transfer of information or power between two or more points that are not connected by an electrical conductor. For wireless communication we will be using Bluetooth module

CONTROL BY SPEECH

Interpreting the continuous flow of sounds coming from a human, in real time, is a difficult task for a computer, mostly because of the great variability of speech. We will be using MATLAB for speech processing.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS

This is a two days workshop on speech processing where students learn the basics of robotics and can control it using speech. The unique feature is we are using only Open Source Software’s even for the speech processing. Students can make their robot perform numerous tasks according to the speech input.
